Khumbu Live exists so that the people who live and work in the Khumbu — and the people walking through it — have one honest place to look: which lodges are open, who runs them, what a trek actually takes, and where to find help when the altitude catches up with you.
Everything is meant to be kept by the community itself. A lodge owner keeps their own page, a trek operator keeps their own route, and a village keeps its own events. The site just holds the shape of it.
We have only just started, and it is not finished. If you live in Khumbu, have walked it, or simply know something that belongs here, we would like to hear it.
